The proposal story of Christine & Ivan…

Ivan’s family has a beautiful cottage on Prince Edward Island in Canada. He and his family have been visiting the area for years and some of his most treasured memories are from summers spent there. Unbeknownst to Christine, Ivan decided that he wanted to experience another very important moment at the island.

According to legend, there is a ‘curse’ on Prince Edward Island – any unwed couple who visits breaks up. Ivan intended on breaking that curse. Ivan, Christine and his family embarked on the long 12 hour car ride to the island. Once they arrived, they headed straight to their favorite beach to look for Prince Edward Island’s infamous sand dollars. While looking for sand dollars, Ivan got down on one knee and surprised Christine by pulling out something sparkly, her beautiful engagement ring! Christine was in complete shock but excitedly agreed to his proposal. Christine and Ivan left their vacation engaged, breaking the curse of Prince Edward Island!
