After reading into it a little more, I was surprised to find out that according to a recent survey, 5% of men said they wear an engagement ring. If you do the math, that means that one in every 20 married men should have an engagement ring. So, why don't we see them more often?

The answer is because a mangagement ring doesn't usually look like a typical female engagement ring. In fact, they can be as simple as a plain men's wedding band. What makes it a mangagement ring is simply the fact that it is purchased around the time of the engagement, becoming official, and worn until the wedding.
