Recently, Long's was honored to help a 97 year old man with his last wish: to finally give his wife an engagement ring. After 65 years of marriage, Pops and Betty are still in love and by each other's side each day. They currently reside in the Wayland Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center.

Pop and Betty on their Wedding Day

Pops was recently enrolled in hospice care and his health is failing. Betty, 86, is in good health but does suffer from a form of dementia that makes it tough to remember things. But that is not going to stop Pop from finally presenting an engagement ring to her and renewing their vows next week at the church where they were first married 65 years ago.
